The founder, Georg Jensen, began his journey with a small silversmith workshop in Copenhagen. His original, innovative designs and vast knowledge of metals and stones shot him to fame and success. In 1940, he presented the Danish Royal family with his now-iconic Daisy necklace to celebrate the birth of Princess Margrethe. Inspired by Denmarkâs national flower, this design became a permanent part of the Georg Jensen brand. The brand is also endorsed by Her Majesty, the Queen of Denmark.
